Art City is a feature-length documentary film currently in production from Mirador Studios and Dreammakerz Productions. The film explores how a city can aspire to become a creative lightning rod, an “Art City”, and reap the benefits of the creativity and inspiration created when this moniker becomes reality. It centers on St.Petersberg, Florida but is also an allegory for the worldwide art scene and art communities who have succeeded and those that have failed. In addition to highlighting some of the incredible passionate artists and performers in the area, this film also seeks to bring attention to the need to support the arts and how this benefits the artists and the communities in which they live and work.
